Earlier this year my Mum and I were fortunate
enough to receive guest passes for the Grove Hotel. It's not about what you know, it's all about who you know right?? We were able to use
the supreme facilities and just relax all day! It was sublime! Although we did not have any treatments, we
left (not that we wanted to) feeling rejuvenated, promising we would try more
Spa Days together.
There is something about the atmosphere of a Spa that just makes
you switch off. My day consisted of reading magazines on the beds, swimming,
spending time in the Jacuzzi and then the Sauna. Afterwards, when we felt like shriveled
up raisins and like we had outstayed our welcome (6 hours isn’t too long surly?) we went into the changing facilities to shower and head home. I’ve never, ever seen changing facilities
quite like it…. We were presented with Molton Brown washing essentials and then
could cosy up in fluffy dressing gowns before changing into our regular
clothes. Not to mention the power showers and hair equipment to make you look half decent after! The whole day was heavenly and a perfect escape from reality! You must go if you get the chance.
Next on
my wish list is Penny Hill Park.
